Tua Tagovailoa sustained another head injury during a game against the Bills, resulting in a concerning “fencing response” that has many calling for his retirement.

Doctors are wondering what’s next for Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa after he suffered his third diagnosed concussion following a tough tackle during last Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Dr. Jesse Morse certainly has some questions and isn’t afraid to call people out.

Morse took to his X account and called out Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins organization for having the quarterback travel 2,700+ miles from Miami to Seattle when he should be resting

“I don’t understand why Tua Tagovailoa is traveling 2,700+ miles from Miami to Seattle to be with the team when he should be resting and recovering from his concussion.”

He added that the concussion protocol is very specific, and he shouldn’t stress his brain or his body.

“The concussion protocol is very specific and he shouldn’t stressing his brain or his body.”

Tua was diagnosed with two concussions in 2022, as well as one when he played at Alabama.

In his pro career, Tagovailoa has dealt with rib fractures, a thumb injury, and a fractured middle finger on his throwing hand, along with the aforementioned concussions.

In 2023, Tua revealed that he discussed with his family whether it was wise to continue playing after the two concussions in the 2022 season.

His mother reportedly wants him to retire, but it does not look like Tua agrees with her.

Dolphins Place Tua Tagovailoa on Injured Reserve

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was diagnosed with a concussion for the third time in his NFL career as he was forced to leave his team’s game last Thursday night against Buffalo after running into defensive back Damar Hamlin and hitting the back of his head against the turf.

Tagovailoa remained down for minutes before walking to the sideline after the play in the third quarter.

Dolphins place Tua Tagovailoa on injured reserve days later, sidelining the QB for at least four games after his latest concussion.
