Amid rumors that the “WAP” singer was overcompensating for financial struggles with Shein partnerships, Cardi B shut down the online chatter by revealing how much money she spends per month.
Cardi B is making money moves.
Amid fan accusations that the “I Like It” singer is “broke” after partnering with fast-fashion clothing brand Shein—despite often sporting designer brands—Cardi responded to the speculations, revealing that she isn’t just “surviving” but that she can afford to spend “about $3 million in a month.”
And if anyone doubted her, she made sure to bring the receipts.
“People say that I’m surviving off Shein deals and brand deals,” the 32-year-old said in an audio recordingposted to X Spaces Dec. 3. “I want to let y’all know I could wake up tomorrow, sign a contract, and have half of $65 million, or half of $70 million, in my bank.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper went on to read a tour deal that was proposed to her in September —the same month she welcomed her third baby with estranged husband Offset—going as far as to post a screenshot of the proposal to prove that she is not struggling financially in the slightest.
“That was on September of this year, not old s–t,” she continued. “And mind you, this is my off year by the way.”
As for the fate of the tour she referred to, Cardi shared shared insight into her calculated plan—and it further proved that she knows exactly how to get her bag.
“I don’t want to take tour deals until I announce my album because when I announce my album I know they’re going to up it,” Cardi explained. “You have to move smart. You can’t act hungry when you’re not.”
In fact, the Grammy winner—who also shares kids Kulture, 6, and Wave, 2, with the Migos alum—recently got a little too comfortable while showing off her designer bling. While trying to show fans her diamond bracelets made by jewelry designer Eliantte, Cardi may have accidentally revealed the not-yet-announced name of her third baby.
“You can’t see my daughter’s name yet, so I gotta hide the last one,” she said in a video posted by the designer, covering the bracelet with her newest addition’s name on it with her finger. “Just know the entire wrist is Eliantte b—h.”

And though she tried to cover it, fans noticed that she didn’t do the best job. Speculation began to spread, with fans guessing what the name could be based on a glimpse of the first two and last two letters of the name.
But while fans won’t truly know the name of Cardi’s baby girl until she and Offset—with whom she filed for divorce from earlier this year—announce it themselves, they can rest assured that she is absolutely loved and will likely be an adorable source of inspiration for Cardi’s future projects.
“With every ending comes a new beginning,” she wrote in her August pregnancy announcement, “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
