Travis Kelce accused of wielding “Chiefs’ devil magic” on Justin Tucker
Tucker’s struggles continued against the Philadelphia Eagles

Justin Tucker
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, widely regarded as one of the NFL’s most reliable players, is enduring the toughest season of his 13-year career.
Tucker‘s struggles continued in the Ravens’ Week 13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, where he missed three crucial kicks-an extra point and two field goals-raising his total misses for the season to an unprecedented eight.
While the Ravens maintain an 8-5 record, Tucker‘s uncharacteristic difficulties have sparked debate among fans, some of whom attribute his decline to a run-in with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce before the 2023-24 AFC Championship Game.

The Kelce incident
Fans point to a pregame moment last season as the beginning of Tucker‘s woes. During warmups for the AFC Championship Game, Tucker and Kelce found themselves in Kansas City’s designated warmup area.
When neither player yielded space, Kelce reportedly tossed Tucker‘s equipment aside to make room for Patrick Mahomes.
Although Tucker performed adequately in that game, making his lone field goal attempt and an extra point in the Ravens’ 17-10 loss, fans believe the incident left a lingering impact.
“The Chiefs devil magic is real because Justin Tucker hasn’t been the same since [the Kelce incident],” one fan commented online.
Another joked: “My man needed to get baptized after that moment.”
Sunday’s performance against the Eagles marked a new low for Tucker. The first miss occurred in the opening quarter when his extra point attempt hit the post, turning what could have been a 10-0 lead into a 9-0 scoreline.
In the third quarter, Tucker missed two more attempts-a 47-yarder and a 53-yarder, both at critical moments as the Ravens tried to rally.
After the game, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh defended his star kicker.

“Justin is definitely capable of making every kick… Nobody wants to make those kicks more than Justin,” he noted.
“If you’re asking me are we going to move on from Justin Tucker, I’m not really planning on doing that right now.”
