The 2024 NFL season kicks off Thursday evening with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs and Ravens last met in the AFC title game in Baltimore.
Kansas City escaped with an ugly 17-10 victory to advance to their second straight Super Bowl, which they won to complete back-to-back championships. Thursday, they’ll start their campaign for a three-peat.
One prominent part of last year’s Super Bowl was none other than Taylor Swift, who began dating tight end Travis Kelce during last season and was in attendance for most Chiefs games all the way through the Super Bowl, where she enjoyed the postgame festivities with the rest of the teams.
According to The Athletic’s Diana Russini, Swift will be in attendance for the season-opener this week as well.
“The Chiefs and their security teams are expecting Taylor Swift to attend tonight’s game,” Russini tweeted Thursday morning.
Kansas City also did some good business, re-negotiating deals with Creed Humphrey and Travis Kelce while adding receivers like JuJu Smith-Schuster, Xavier Worthy and Marquise “Hollywood” Bown to give Patrick Mahomes even more weapons this season.
