Louis Arnote’s last description of Elbaph was particularly interesting because he talks about how overstaying in Elbaph might be dangerous. This has led to the formulation of many One Piece theories, and one of them connects it to the time changes in Elbaph and how it can help Luffy with his next power-up in One Piece.
Louis Arnote’s Description of Elbaph
One Piece chapter 1132 officially marked the beginning of the Straw Hat Pirates’ journey in Elbaph, with the Giants explaining to them how things work in the mysterious place. The three realms and the rainbow coattail pathways were some of the thrilling parts of the Giants’ explanation about Elbaph.
However, a more dramatic description was given by Louis Arnote’s panels, which pointed out the intensity and the mystical elements of the place. Arnote pointed out that Elbaph Island is a part of the Kingdom of Warland, but others simplify it by calling the entire kingdom Elbaph, the land of Giants.

He also explained that everything in Elbaph, be it trees, animals, vines, flowers, insects, birds, or fish, is exceptionally huge compared to the rest of the One Piece world. According to him, adventurers do not regret getting lost here. But there is something about this mystical place that forces him to warn others about their stay.
One Piece Theory Explains How Elbaph Will Help Luffy Power-Up
According to a theory posted by u/skoy41 on Reddit, the last point of Louis Arnote’s warning for the adventurers getting lost in Elbaph and avoiding overstaying in Elbaph might have some deeper meaning. Arnote points out that the adventurers won’t regret losing their time in Elbaph, but they should not overstay their welcome in Elbaph.

The theory states that there is a big possibility that Eiichiro Oda might have dropped a major hint that explains the passage of time within Elbaph. There is a chance that this time distortion might be the reason behind the longevity of the Giants’ age or their huge sizes. Thus, if the Straw Hat Pirates stay here, there is a chance that they might get an ample amount of time to train themselves.
If this happens, and Luffy really gets a new power-up in terms of Haki or Devil Fruit in Elbaph, he might be able to unlock a new transformation. This would also get him and his crewmates ready for the final war that has been awaited by One Piece fans for the longest time.
