Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark gave a shoutout to her teammate Aliyah Boston as she relived a major moment in her historic debut campaign. In a video feature shared by the Fever on X on Friday, Clark touched on, among other things, the moment she secured her second triple-double, which she partly gave credit to Boston.
As time was winding down in their 93-86 victory over the visiting LA Sparks on Sept. 4, Boston seemingly gave way for Caitlin Clark to secure her 10th rebound of the game to complete a triple-double, where she also scored 24 points and dished out 10 assists.
Clark shared of the triple-double:
“Shout out to AB (Boston). She kinda let me get that rebound, but I was lucky because it bounced right in my direction, so I had to get it…”
She went on to say what it was like to celebrate it with her teammates, saying:
“I think you can just tell, like, the joy that it brought to my teammates as well. Like, it just speaks to the team culture that we have here. Like, nobody really cares like about themselves. They just want what’s best for their teammates…”
