On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills gave the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the NFL season. Of course, if the Chiefs play a game, there will be some mention of Taylor Swift.
Usually, when this happens, it’s NFL fans complaining about Swift’s coverage, but this time, it revolves around a player’s wife.
After the game, the wife of Baylon Spector, a linebacker with the Bills, posted an Instagram story of her and friends that read, “9-2! Never a swiftie.”
Of course, though, there isn’t super anything disrespectful about the post. It’s not as if Spector is taking a personal shot at Swift; it seems to be just a light-hearted joke that was taken out of context.
However, NFL fans often react similarly when they think someone has disrespected their favorite team or player, so maybe being an NFL fan truly rubs off on the Swifties.
Everyone should remember to remove Swift’s name from their social media unless they want to suffer the same fate.
Taylor Swift Was Not At The Chiefs-Bills Game
Swift was just in Toronto, Canada, as one of the stops on her “Eras Tour,” not too far from Buffalo, where the game was played.
However, she was not in attendance, and many who thought she would be were confused.
Mehera Bonner of Cosmopolitan did their best to clear some of that confusion.
“There was some speculation that Taylor might attend since she doesn’t have an Eras Tour performance lined up today and was just in nearby Toronto,” Bonner wrote. “But a few things to note: 1) Taylor is reportedly only attending Chiefs home games in Kansas City due to security reasons. And on top of that, sports commentator Adam Lefkoe says she and the Kelce family didn’t have the best time at last year’s Chiefs vs. Bills game in Buffalo.”

A new report is now detailing how Taylor Swift feels following the home burglary of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Travis Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes were both targeted for burglaries last month, and the FBI is now investigating the matter.
Mahomes offered his perspective on the burglaries, which saw $20,000 in cash stolen from Kelce.
“Obviously, it’s frustrating, disappointing,” Mahomes said via David K. Li of NBC News. “I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is still ongoing. But obviously, it’s something that you don’t want to happen to, really anybody, but obviously yourself.”
We are now finding out how Taylor Swift feels about the situation.
According to a report from Page Six, Swift is reportedly feeling “thankful” that no one was home during either of the two burglaries.
“She’s thankful that no one was hurt and that neither of them were home during the robberies,” a source told Page Six.
Page Six further reported that the pop star attended an afterparty with Kelce following the game against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
They would stay on the safe side at a hotel in Kansas City that night, per TMZ.
According to TMZ Sports, the FBI is now working in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies to investigate these incidents.
Taylor Swift And The Chiefs Remain Undefeated In 2024
The last time Taylor Swift saw the Kansas City Chiefs lose a game in person was Christmas Day 2023.
That is also the last time the Chiefs have lost a game.
The team improved to 9-0 on Sunday following a last-second block against the Denver Broncos.
Taylor Swift was in attendance, just as she has been for every home game at Arrowhead Stadium.
