And she threatened to steal Greenberg’s thunder after Love On Top, a hit single for the singer in 2011, burst through the speakers as she let her hair down at the ensuing reception.
While the track went down well on Saturday, there was disappointment on Monday, with the singer failing to receive a Country Music Association awards nomination, even though her Cowboy Carter album proved a cultural phenomenon upon its release this year.

Beyonce to rival Oasis as she ‘books huge UK stadium gigs’ for next summer
The former Destiny’s Child star celebrated her big day with her husband in an undisclosed tropical locale.
She shared a handful of images of her celebration to Instagram with the accompanying caption: ‘I’m so grateful for another year. Thank you for the loving birthday wishes.’
But there was disappointment on Monday, with the singer failing to receive a Country Music Association awards nomination, despite latest album Cowboy Carter proving to be a cultural phenomenon upon release this year.
Its surprising absence among the slate of nominees was conspicuous: Texas Hold ‘Em, her sprawling album’s first single, soared to the top of the charts, including the country list, and the album was widely considered a smash.
Morgan Wallen, the controversial country-pop singer who has found enormous streaming success, received the most nominations with seven, including for the coveted Entertainer of the Year title.
Chris Stapleton and Cody Johnson received five nominations each.
Lainey Wilson notched four, as did Post Malone, who segued into country this year from his warbling rock-rap. His single “I Had Some Help” features Wallen, and its nominations ushered that artist to the front of the pack.
Beyoncé is no stranger to CMA controversy: she notably received racist comments after performing what was then her most country song to date, “Daddy Lessons,” at the 2016 CMA awards.

Beyoncé’s father Matthew Knowles later shared his thoughts about the snub, pointing to race relations as a reason during an interview with TMZ.
‘There’s more white people in America and unfortunately they don’t vote based on ability and achievements; it’s still sometimes a white and black thing,’ he explained.
Knowles, 72, also shared that the singer’s latest project being overlooked ‘speaks for itself.’
He said: ‘In America, there’s no accountability for people not being accepting of other cultures.’
Beyoncé first teased her eighth album during the Super Bowl this past February.

She led with two surprise singles — catchy, banjo-driven Texas Hold ‘Em and the emotional ballad 16 Carriages.
The full album dropped in March and offered fans, known as the Beehive, 27 tracks featuring a host of A-list collaborators.
Texas Hold ‘Em made the songstress the first Black woman to hold the number one spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
While promoting the new music earlier this year, the Renaissance music artist said the LP had been ‘five years in the making.’
