LeBron James has achieved numerous milestones in his NBA career, but the one he’s been most looking forward to is playing alongside his son, Bronny James. The Los Angeles Lakers paved the way for LeBron by drafting Bronny as the No. 55 overall pick in this season’s NBA Draft.

LeBron is thrilled for the opportunity, but he has already set a rule to maintain professionalism while playing together. He made it clear that Bronny can’t call him “dad” on the court.

However, Bronny has yet to decide on an alternative name. During a recent interview on the Gojo and Golic podcast, aired on DraftKings, LeBron humorously shared that he’s still waiting for his son’s decision.

You know what he hasn’t said anything yet. He hasn’t given me a name yet on the practice court.  And I actually have my ears so open waiting for that moment,” James said.

I’ll make sure that you guys get the intel because I’m on your guys show today. So I’m gonna give you guys the first crack at what he said at first when it comes first,” he added.

LeBron James Reflects on First Practice with Bronny

LeBron James and Bronny James already started practice for the upcoming season. On the podcast, LeBron James shared his experience of his first practice with Bronny, admitting that practicing with his son brought unexpected emotions.

This week we got back into the gym, and it was really the first time that me and Bronny were on the floor as professionals training, going against each other, preparing for the season,” LeBron said.

And there were a couple moments where I kind of just lost focus, you know, and I’m not used to losing focus when I’m out on the floor. It’s going to be an unbelievable year for myself, and I hope for him as well,” he added.

The upcoming season is not just about father and son sharing the court but also a chance for Bronny to make his own mark. LeBron has always been supportive of Bronny, defending him against claims of nepotism. Now, with this season ahead, Bronny has the opportunity to live up to the family legacy and silence critics.

Everyone Is Calling Out The WNBA For Totally Disrespecting Caitlin Clark With Their Playoff Graphic

There have been so many different reasons that Caitlin Clark has made headlines since joining the WNBA. At times, it’s mostly about her achievements on the court, but every now and then, people think that she gets way too much disrespect from the media and those in it.

The latest example is the WNBA’s graphic showcasing all the teams that made the playoffs. Calrk’s Indianan Fever made it, but the league instead used guard Kelsey Mitchell.

Now, everyone is calling out the WNBA for purposefully excluding Clark for several different reasons and how these actions negatively affect the league.

“This tells me the WNBA will be a passing fad, which will last as long as CC is in the league since the WNBA is learning nothing,” said one comment.

“Imagine a basketball league having a star comparable to Larry Bird dropped into its midst and doing everything possible to not promote him/her. This is where we are in the WNBA,” said another.

“Wnba is an embarrassment. Once again, if Clark wasn’t playing this year, no one would care what goes on in the wnba. However, jealousy is one heck of a disease,” added a third.

“A joke indeed. The league is enjoying incredible and never before seen success and it’s all because of one person. And she is not even highlighted on their marketing piece,” a fourth continued.

Of course, though, it is worth mentioning that Mitchell has been an All-Star the past two seasons and arguably just had the best year of her career.

Caitlin Clark Has Led The Fever To The Playoffs

In Clark’s first season with the Fever, she led the struggling franchise to a playoff birth and are set to take on the Connecticut Sun.

This comes after the team had not made the playoffs since 2017 when they lost in the first round.
