Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole had a curious reaction to the Kansas City Chiefs star’s house getting broken into last month.

The tight end’s house was burglarized on October 7, while he was playing a game against the New Orleans Saints on ‘Monday Night Football.’ It’s believed that he lost $20,000 in cash, $100,000 worth of jewelry, and his first Super Bowl jersey.

Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes was also the victim of a burglary, with the incidents taking place around a day apart. It’s not clear whether the quarterback lost anything.

Nicole was recently caught on an outing by paparazzi and was asked for her thoughts on the burglary. While she did not reply, she cracked a smile before getting into her car.

Fans Are Pissed At Kayla Nicole

The reaction did not go down well with fans.

“She needs a PR manager because she should have just kept her face blank and kept it moving. Smiling and laughing about it just shows people what type of person she is,” someone shared in a post on X.

“The fact that she is smiling is so devilish and mean,” another wrote. “Karma will hit her hard soon.”

Others felt Kayla being asked such a question about someone she is no longer in a relationship with was unfair, while some defended her by claiming her laughter was taken out of context.

“She’s not laughing at it being burglarized; she’s laughing at the ridiculousness of the question,” a user suggested.

There’s really no way of telling what was going through Kayla’s mind at the time, but we should probably give her the benefit of the doubt here. It was an awkward moment.
