New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers immediately became a meme after his team’s shocking 10-9 home loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon.

Aaron Rodgers’ Jets were a 7.5-point favorite over the 1-2 Broncos, but were upset 10-9 in a sloppy and rain-filled affair. Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein missed a game-winning 50-yard field goal attempt, dropping Gang Green to 2-2 heading into next Sunday’s London game vs. te Minnesota Vikings:

Rodgers’ reaction to Zuerlein’s missed kick immediately made him a popular meme across social media:

Aaron Rodgers had a decent stat line given the awful weather conditions, completing 24 pass attempts for 225 yards. However, he was sacked five times and unable to lead the Jets into the end zone.

Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix cold only muster 60 yards passing, but the Denver ground game made up for his lackluster outing by rushing for 126 yards on 31 carries. Courtland Sutton’s eight-yard touchdown and Wil Lutz’s lone field goal were enough for the Jets to pull off the upset.

Aaron Rodgers & Jets Offense Remains A Work In Progress

After a sloppy Week 1 performance in their road loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Rodgers’ Jets leaned on the defense in a Week 2 bounce-back win over the Tennessee Titans.

The offense looked excellent in their Week 3 blowout victory over the New England Patriots, but the group took another step back in Sunday’s loss to the Broncos. Clearly, there is plenty of work to do if the Jets are to live up to expectations as a Super Bowl contender.

Everyone had the same observation and resulting joke after finding out Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola has a younger brother.

Said sibling is in the news this week, having committed to the Cornhuskers himself, and is expected to be part of the program’s 2026 recruitment class.

Dayton Railoa announced his commitment on Sunday night. He replaced his older brother as the starting QB at Georgia’s Buford High School following his departure for college and has led them to four wins from their first five outings.

Dayton’s commitment makes him the newest Raiola to be associated with the Huskers.

The boys’ father, Dominic Raiola, played for the school from 1997-2000 before going on to spend 14 years with the Detroit Lions in the NFL.
