Amid a huge day for the Detroit Lions, the team is likely to lose Aidan Hutchinson for some time.

In the third quarter of the blowout, the Lions’ defensive end had just sacked Dak Prescott.

He would not get up.

Aidan Hutchinson would grab his leg and take his gloves off, which signaled his injury was pretty bad.

Soon, the cart would come out and retrieve him as he got taken off the field at AT&T Stadium.

Players from both teams were on their knees, deep in prayer, as the broadcast refused to show the replay.

Unfortunately, this does not look like something he can come back from in 2024.

Before his injury, Hutchinson had three tackles and one sack.

It looks like he will end his season with 7.5 sacks.

Losing Aidan Hutchinson For The Season Would Be Devastating For The Lions

The Detroit Lions are rolling in Dallas over the Dallas Cowboys. However, they will be losing a top player for some time.

Aidan Hutchinson went down with a gruesome leg injury and would not get up as a cart came out to get him.

The Lions losing their best player on defense will undoubtedly hurt for the remainder of this season as he will need surgery and go through rehab.

The University of Michigan is in the national spotlight for a signal-stealing scandal that has rocked the state of college football.

Michigan staffer Connor Stalions is alleged to have bought tickets—and potentially attended and recorded— opponents’ games to get intel on upcoming opponents to gain a massive advantage.

On Thursday, Detroit Lions defender and former Michigan Wolverine Aidan Hutchinson briefly discussed the allegations.

“They’re doing all their investigations and they’re coming at Michigan when Michigan’s got a shot to win the National Championship this year, so I don’t know,” Hutchinson said. “It is what it is, I guess. Time will pass and people will forget about it and move on once we’re the champs again.”

Hutchinson was asked if he believes there is someone out there simply trying to take down the Michigan program.

“I mean, probably. Yeah, probably.”

He then stated he had no relationship with Stalions while he was in college.

“In college football, people are always stealing signs in college football,” Hutchinson said. “People stole our signs, other Big Ten schools stole our signs. It’s just a thing when you’re in college football.”

Following his comments about not really knowing the staffer, a picture would come out showing Hutchinson definitely had a relationship to the point where they would take a selfie together.

While Hutchinson is clearly dismissing some of the allegations, the investigation continues.

The Michigan Wolverines are currently 8-0 and ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press poll. Stalions is currently suspended with pay while the NCAA investigates.

As for the Detroit Lions, they are 5-2 and sitting in first place in the NFC North.
