Former NFL head coach and current ESPN analyst Rex Ryan is not a fan of the Dallas Cowboys defense so far in 2024.
If the Cowboys are looking for an opprtunity to right last week’s wrongs, it is not going to come easy as they get set to face the Baltimore Ravens.
The Cowboys’ defense got run over by the Saints on their home field at AT&T Stadium.
New Orleans ran for 190 yards, and Derek Carr picked up 243 yards on just 11 completions, so the Cowboys struggled across the board in front of their fans.
On Sunday NFL Countdown, Mike Greenberg asked Rex Ryan to use one word to describe the Cowboys’ defense.
Rex Ryan: “Garbage.”
Greenberg then asked him to give him two words to describe the Dallas Cowboys’ defense.

“Hot garbage.”
The Dallas Cowboys looked so good in Week One against the Cleveland Browns just to let their fans down the very next week.
The Cowboys have a history of big, humiliating losses just when they start to really feel good about themselves.
Haters and critics always look forward to it because we always know it is going to happen once the hype gets too much.

Micah Parsons Says The Ravens Game Is A “Prove It” Game For The Dallas Cowboys Defense
The Cowboys’ defense needs to go out and prove themselves during their matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
New Orleans ran for 190 yards while Derek Carr picked up 243 yards as they sliced and diced that Dallas Cowboys defense.
On Wednesday, Micah Parsons said, “We all need to step up.”
“Yeah, I think the mentality is to bounce back, stop this run and show people that you can stop the run,” Parsons said, via the team’s website. “I think it’s definitely a prove it game when you get a game like this back-to-back.”
Parsons believes stopping the run will allow the Cowboys a chance to get after Lamar Jackson.
