Earlier this year, high school football star Noah Knigga went viral for his unique name, which sparked many jokes.
It became such a big joke that he got interviewed by ESPN analyst Robert Griffin about the correct pronunciation of his name, which was “Ka-Nay-Gah.”
As most social media stories go, his name quickly left the headlines, and it has not been since he made his college commitment.
Knigga has officially decided that he is going to continue his football career at Eastern Michigan University.
Hilariously, EMU announced it with the caption, “Needed a stud at LB, and we Noah guy,” which was a recurring line when he first went viral.
The post has since gone viral, racking over 6 million views in less than a day, and the jokes keep rolling in.
“Lmao this is the knigga we’ve always needed,” said one comment.
“All time best selling jersey incoming,” joked another.
“Whoever posted this was trembling while crafting it,” a third added.
“This fellas NIL dough will be off the charts,” another wrote..
“Over/Under 24 hours before they sell out of his jersey 💀,” a fan continued.
Knigga is set to play linebacker for EMU, which has a 5-7 record overall and a 2-6 record in the MAC.
Noah Knigga Is A Three Star Prospect
Don’t be fooled by the funny name, Knigga is a legitimately great player coming out of high school.

He also had Colgate, Air Force, Arkansas State, Army, and Navy offers.
