STEVE Harvey has called out a Family Feud contestant who bragged about his job, leaving fans of the long-running game show impressed.

On Sunday, Family Feud re-shared the hilarious clip from an earlier episode on the show’s official Instagram account.

In the clip, Steve introduced Changa, a “high school chorus teacher” and a “vocal coach” who claimed he can sing in five languages.

“Okay, well now, hold on. Is French one of those five languages?” the funnyman asked the choir teacher.

“French is one of them,” Changa replied.

When Steve gave the singer an opportunity to demonstrate his abilities, Changa stumbled, allowing Steve to jump in with a pitch-perfect rendition of French singer Alain le Lait’s popular nursery rhyme Alouette, gentille alouette.

The TV personality quipped Changa had probably used his talents to impress his partner, who also appeared alongside the music teacher, in a resurfaced clip to mark Bastille Day on July 14.

“That’s how you got her, wasn’t you?” he continued. “Boy, you was over there blowing your little heart out.”

As Changa’s fellow contestants bursted out laughing, Steve launched into another song, before concluding “merci, beaucoup” or “thank you, very much” in impeccable French.

Family Feud fans left multiple laughing face emojis under the video that was shared on the show’s official Instagram page, with one person writing, “teacher got schooled”.

Steve Harvey rereads question for Family Feud contestant after giving ‘horrible answer’ on show
Steve, 67, has hosted Family Feud since 2010, with snippets of his funniest and most memorable interactions with contestants often going viral.

On Saturday, Steve was forced to re-read his question for a Family Feud player after he gave the “weirdest answer ever”.

During the episode, Steve asked contestant Travis, “Name the first thing a guy wants after his girlfriend has dumped him?”

Travis left the studio and viewers at home baffled when he replied, “He wants to … have a cigarette.”

Steve Harvey’s Hosting Gigs

Steve has hosted several shows since beginning his career in stand-up comedy

1993-2000: It’s Showtime at the Apollo

2010 – Present: Family Feud

2015 – Present: Celebrity Family Feud

2012-2019: Steve Harvey Show/Steve

2016-2019: Little Big Shots

2020 – Present: Steve On Watch

2022 – Present: Judge Steve Harvey

This prompted Steve to give Travis a second chance to answer the question, as he leaned forward and repeated his question.

“Travis, what’s the first thing a guy wants after his girlfriend has dumped him?” Steve asked before jokingly added, “Not humped him.”

To no one’s surprise, Travis’ response didn’t make it to the top seven answers, but ended up becoming one of the funniest moments on Saturday night’s episode.

NOT SCRIPTED

An insider recently revealed that Steve’s jokes aren’t rehearsed, with the source telling The U.S. Sun he “comes up with a lot of that stuff on the spot”.

“The facial expressions, double entendres, and even the way he delivers the questions are designed to make you laugh and cringe like it’s 1 am at the local comedy club.

“Steve knows exactly what he’s doing and you don’t hire Steve and keep renewing his contract just to reign the guy in or try to censor him,” they added.

His hosting duties mean Steve has encountered a long list of shocking, wildly inappropriate, or even downright raunchy responses to Family Feud survey questions.

Previous questions that have drawn NSFW responses from contestants include, “Name something a married couple might do together at home in the nude.”

After the top answer was revealed as “BBQ the bratwurst” to signify making love, fans questioned whether the show was actually as family friendly as its title suggested.

Despite the backlash from some viewers, there’s actually been an increase in the number of sexually suggestive questions on Family Feud, with an insider telling The U.S. Sun the production company feels confident Steve can handle them tastefully.

“In the last few years, there’s been this uptick in risqué or even sexual questions, but the producers know that Steve can handle that stuff and walk right up to the line without crossing it,” they said.
