Team USA came away with the gold medal in basketball on Saturday, taking down France in what was a thrilling game. LeBron James was named MVP of the competition, but it was Stephen Curry who stole the show with dagger after dagger three-pointer in the fourth quarter.
A ton of eyes were tuned in to see the game, including athletes from a variety of sports. Among boxers, the mercurial Ryan Garcia was watching along. As has been the case since he went absurd on social media earlier this year, Garcia’s posts drew attention.

He only made two posts on X, with the first calling out James for getting dunked on during the game.
One would assume that Garcia would be cheering for the US, given it’s the country of his birth and where he resides, but he couldn’t help but slightly laugh at James.

As the game was ending, his only other post came through, in which he shouted out Curry for not being able to miss a three – and for being a “Christian man“.
That was all we got from Garcia about the game. He then followed up with a video post in which Donald Trump is mentioned, transitioning into highlights of the boxer. No one ever knows what is going on in his mind.
