Diddy posted to Instagram following his delete spree. He was slammed by Eminem after massive abuse allegations surfaced, including a Homeland Security investigation
Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs returned to social media following a myriad of high-tension controversies, including a federal investigation, several lawsuits, and a diss from rap star Eminem.
For the first time since wiping his Instagram, he posted two photos to celebrate his daughter’s birthday. “My babygirl turned 18 today. I’m so proud of you Chance. I love you,” he wrote in the caption. Diddy went on to tag his daughter, Chance Combs, who reposted the pictures to her story with a few heart emojis.
The first photo was of Chance standing in front of a scenic beach backdrop, including a setting sun. She wore a striped yellow and pink crochet strapless dress with a small pendant necklace. Chance wore her hair down in long braids and displayed wrist-fulls of various bracelets. The rapper then added a throwback photo of himself and his daughter sleeping when she was a young girl.

His return to social media comes after Eminem threw some shade at him in the star’s latest release. “I’m like an R-A-P-E-R, got so many S-As / Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he?” Eminem rapped in the song Fuel.
The shade was in reference to Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles which has seen him accused multiple times of sexual assault and domestic violence allegations. He has “vehemently” denied said allegations through his lawyers. He was first hit with a lawsuit by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura who settled out of court with the musician just one day after filing.

While Diddy denied her allegations, a video later surfaced that showed him beating and hitting Cassie in a hotel hallway. The security footage caused Diddy to respond and own up to his violent past. He said in a video statement: “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was f–ked up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses.
“My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

By wiping his Instagram clean, Diddy also pulled the apology video down. He still denies the allegations made against him by other women. However, his Miami and LA homes were raided by Homeland Security in connection to a human trafficking investigation which Diddy, yet again, denied any wrongdoing or connection to.
