Billionaire Elon Musk has celebrated Nick Bosa’s willingness to pay an NFL fine over his recent political stunt.

The 49ers star is being lauded by conservatives after flashing his MAGA hat during a postgame interview following a win over the Dallas Cowboys late last month. The NFL has since hit him with a fine of $11,255, but Bosa has declared it “was well worth it,” given the results of the recent electoral process.

The X owner is among the many out there who have praised the defensive end for the controversial gesture, taking to said platform to celebrate it with a fire and American flag emoji.

Elon Musk Was One Of Donald Trump’s Biggest Contributors

Elon Musk was one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters in the buildup to last week’s election and is believed to have spent at least $130 million to fund the President elect’s campaign following his assassination attempt, helping him gain a foothold in Pennsylvania.

Bosa, meanwhile, has doubled down on his support following the fine. He performed the Trump dance after making a sack against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

“I don’t think my position on speaking about it is going to change,” he said after last week’s result. “Clearly, the nation spoke and we got what we got.”

The NFL chose to fine the player because he broke Rule 5, Section 4, Article 8 of the rulebook, which prohibits players from displaying personal messages in stadiums or on television without approval.

San Francisco 49ers star and vocal Donald Trump supporter Nick Bosa has broken his silence on the Republican nominee winning the 2024 United States presidential election.

After the 49ers defeated the Dallas Cowboys on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 8, Nick Bosa made headlines by crashing Brock Purdy’s post-game interview and displaying a Trump “Make America Great Again” hat:

Bosa declined to comment further on the matter last week, but he broke his silence on Trump winning the election while speaking to reporters today, per Grant Cohn of Sports Illustrated.

“I don’t think my position on speaking about it is going to change. Clearly, the nation spoke and we got what we got.”

The polls were neck-and-beck between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, but the 45th president soundly defeated her to win a second term in office. Trump joins Grover Cleveland in the exclusive club of presidents to win two non-consecutive terms in the White House.

Nick Bosa’s 49ers come out of their bye week with a 4-4 record, looking to keep their postseason hopes intact with a road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon.

Nick Bosa & 49ers Need A Strong Second-Half Push

The 49ers went 13-4 in 2022 and 12-5 last season, but they’re already in danger of exceeding their loss total in both those years. At 4-4, it’s becoming now or never time for Kyle Shanahan and the reigning NFC champions.

The Green Bay Packers occupy the final NFC wild-card spot with a 6-3 record. So realistically speaking, the 49ers probably need to finish 11-6 or 10-7 to get into the postseason for a fourth straight year.
