THE new teaser for A Complete Unknown, the new Bob Dylan biopic, has fans already raving over Timothée Chalamet’s performance.

A first glimpse at the biopic was released by Searchlight Picture on Wednesday, showing Timothée, 28, stepping into the Grammy winner’s shoes.

The James Mangold-directed film, named after a lyric from Bob’s 1965 hit Like A Rolling Stone, documents the early career of the legendary folk singer.

The new clip showed Timothée speaking as Bob and performing his hit song, A Hard Rain’s a-Gonna Fall.

After seeing the teaser, fans immediately noted how much he sounded like the Blowin’ In The Wind hitmaker.

“Holy s**t he sounds just like him,” one person wrote on the clip.

“Absolutely nailed the voice,” said a second, while a third wrote, “SOUNDS JUST LIKE HIM.”

“The actor, the voice, PERFECT,” another said.

Others believed the Dune actor could be on his way to winning an Academy Award for his portrayal of Bob in the new film.

Timothée last received a Best Actor nomination at the 2018 Oscars for his role as Elio Perlman in Call Me By Your Name.

“Academy award coming soon,” someone wrote.

“Time for a academy award, timmy,” another added.

TRAILER DETAILS

The trailer reveals the late singer Pete Seeger, played by Edward Norton, who introduces a young Bob to a crowd as he takes the stage.

The following scenes show Bob’s performance mixed with moments from his travels around New York City during his early career.

The ending shows Bob playing guitar and singing a song for Pete’s family, where one of his daughters tells Bob that he is off to “a good start.”

Timothée stars in the upcoming film alongside Elle Fanning, who plays Sylvie Russo, and Monica Barbaro, who plays Joan Baez.

Fans got a glimpse of Timothée as Bob earlier this year as the actors began filming in New Jersey and New York City.

The Lady Bird actor was seen looking exactly like Bob while wearing a brown suede jacket, flared jeans, and brown boots.

His curly hair was also styled similarly to the rock singer’s, giving an uncanny resemblance.

A Complete Unknown does not yet have a release date.
