Social media detectives noticed some bizarre activity by NBC regarding Nick Bosa’s viral moment after the Dallas Cowboys-San Francisco 49ers “Sunday Night Football” contest at Levi’s Stadium,
After escaping with a 30-24 victory over the rival Cowboys, NBC’s Melissa Stark interviewed George Kittle, Brock Purdy and Isaac Guerendo. While Stark was speaking to Purdy, Nick Bosa crashed the interview to show off his Donald Trump “Make America Great Again” hat:

Mark Harris of OutKick and several fans on X/Twitter noticed NBC Sports’ peculiar social media activity with the Bosa-MAGA hat moment. Harris noted that NBC Sports initially shared a video of Stark’s interview with the three players on X/Twitter, with the brief Bosa appearance completely edited out.
The tweet with the new video has since been deleted, but it doesn’t end there. On Monday morning, the @SNFonNBC account ended up just sharing the original video (with Nick Bosa’s Trump endorsement) anyway:

Fans called out NBC and accused them of “censoring” Bosa by trying to initially remove his Trump endorsement from their video:
Nick Bosa was later asked about the MAGA hat moment while speaking to reporters, but he declined further comment. The 2022 Defensive Player of the Year has been a vocal supporter of Trump, who’s running against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Grover Cleveland is the only American President to have served two non-consecutive terms. Trump will become the second if he defeats Harris, who would become the first female U.S. president with a victory.

A loss to the struggling Cowboys would have dropped San Francisco to 3-5 heading into their bye week. But the reigning NFC Champions did just enough to sneak past Dallas to get back to .500.
Now 4-4, the 49ers can finally rest up for a week before taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10. They hope to have superstar running back Christian McCaffrey (yet to play this season) back for that game.
