It was recently revealed that in early October, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce’s homes were both broken into.

It’s unclear whether or not anything was taken from Mahome’s house, but at least $20,000 was taken from Kelce.

This happened while the Chiefs hosted the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.

More than a month later, Mahomes spoke out about the situation, and the two words that stood out the most were “frustrating” and “disappointing.”

“Obviously it’s frustrating, disappointing,” said Mahomes. “I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is still ongoing. But obviously it’s something that you don’t want to happen to, really anybody, but obviously yourself.”

“I can’t speak too much about the details of everything, just with the investigation going on,” Mahomes added while talking to reporters. “But I’m sure at some point that will be talked about.”

Of course, these break-ins seem like more than just a coincidence, and a source has told TMZ that the two burglaries could be a part of a crime spree in the area.

Patrick Mahomes Discusses Bill Fans AHead Of Matchup Against Buffalo

For Week 11, the Chiefs will travel to Buffalo to take on the Buffalo Bills in a very good AFC matchup.

While on “The Drive” podcast, Mahomes discussed what it’s like to go into Buffalo and play in front of their fans.

It’s gonna take your best in order to win this football game,” he said. “You’re playing against one of the best teams in the NFL…..and know every single time it seems like it comes down to the wire, and we’re going to be in the hostile environment. So we understand that it’s gonna take our best football in order to get the win. And that should be enough motivation in itself.

He also acknowledges that there is not much love between himself and the fans.

I mean, they don’t like me a lot, and they don’t like the Chiefs a lot, so I’m sure it’ll be pretty hostile out there,” he added.

Few modern NFL quarterbacks have made such a big impact as Patrick Mahomes. Drafted in 2017, he faced doubts early on, with many experts believing he was not as developed as players like Deshaun Watson and Mitchell Trubisky. However, Mahomes quickly proved his critics wrong by leading the Kansas City Chiefs to significant playoff success.

From his first full season as a starter in 2018, Mahomes quickly established himself as a dominant force in the NFL. His remarkable skill set and leadership qualities transformed the Kansas City Chiefs into a formidable team. Because of his guidance, the Chiefs have made it to the AFC Conference Finals every year he has played as their leader, showing that he can perform well when it really counts.

However, it is in the Super Bowl where Mahomes really stands out, often stepping up and showing off his abilities in the most important game in football.

So far, Patrick Mahomes has led the Chiefs to four Super Bowl appearances and has won three of them. His journey began in the 2019 season with Super Bowl LIV, where the Chiefs faced the San Francisco 49ers. After trailing 20-10 at the end of the third quarter, Mahomes pulled off a stunning comeback, helping the Chiefs win 31-20. He completed 26 of 42 passes for 286 yards, threw two touchdown passes, scored one rushing touchdown, and earned the Super Bowl MVP award for his performance.

Patrick Mahomes’ Journey To Super Bowl Redemption And Triumph

Mahomes and the Chiefs returned to the Super Bowl in the 2020 season but faced a tough challenge against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game did not go well for Mahomes; the Buccaneers dominated, and the Chiefs couldn’t score a single touchdown, leading to a disappointing 31-9 loss.

Mahomes bounced back strongly, leading the Chiefs back to the Super Bowl for the 2022 season. In Super Bowl LVII, he faced the Philadelphia Eagles in an exciting game. The Chiefs were down 24-14 at halftime, but Mahomes executed another impressive comeback. He finished the game by completing 21 of 27 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 44 yards. The Chiefs won 38-35, and Mahomes was named the MVP once again.

His latest Super Bowl win came on February 11, 2024, when the Chiefs played the 49ers again in Super Bowl LVIII. Mahomes showed his talent by throwing for 333 yards and two touchdowns, leading Kansas City to a close 25-22 victory. This win solidified Patrick Mahomes’ legacy, making him one of the few quarterbacks to win three Super Bowls, alongside greats like Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, and Brady.
