A WILD ending in the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday was enough to get Caitlin Clark to end her social media hiatus.

The Chiefs won a thriller against the Denver Broncos, and Clark had to share her thoughts on social media.

While Clark played her college basketball in Iowa and plays her pro ball in Indiana, her NFL allegiances lie in Missouri.

Clark grew up a Chiefs fan and previously spoke about how much she looked forward to watching games every week when she was a kid.

“That’s what I really looked forward to most on Sundays … we would be watching the Chiefs,” she told the Kansas City Star.

“I would be upset if they lost and I still am.

“Like every Sunday that’s what [is] usually the brightest part of my day is turning on the TV and watching the Chiefs.”

It appears that sentiment is still true years later, as Clark posted a one word message on X confirming her fandom.

“CHIEFSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she posted.

NFL fans were shocked to hear that Clark supports the Chiefs, and shared their opinions about it in her comments.

“No way she’s on the bandwagon,” one fan said.

“Caitlin Clark is on board!!!” another fan said.

“I have to suddenly re-evaluate my feelings about you,” a fourth fan said.

“You being a Chiefs fan really shouldn’t be allowed,” a fifth fan said.

Clark’s emphatic post came after the Chiefs blocked a game-winning field goal attempt by the Broncos.

What looked like it would be a 16-17 loss turned into a 16-14 win for the team, keeping their undefeated season alive.


It wasn’t a pretty win, but Patrick Mahomes emphasized in his postgame conference that a win is a win.

“Any way you win is good in this league,” he said.

“You live for these moments. When you grow up playing football, you live for the walk-off whatever-it-is.

“And I’m glad we get to experience it together.”

The Chiefs will face their biggest test on Sunday against the 8-2 Buffalo Bills as they look to move to 10-0 on the season.
