Troy Aikman seems to know something about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift that the rest of us are not aware of.

The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and “Monday Night Football” was in the midst of praising a second-quarter play by Chiefs star Travis Kelce against the Saints when ESPN cameras showed his girlfriend Taylor Swift celebrating in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

“The Mrs. likes it,” Aikman told viewers.

“You know they’re not married?” his partner Joe Buck said.

“Oh, I know,” Aikman told him. “I’m sure I’m in trouble for saying that.”

Fast forward days later and Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may be celebrating their engagement during the Kansas City Chiefs bye week, according to analyst Troy Aikman.

The 57-year-old revealed on Wednesday’s “Pardon My Take” podcast that he heard the tight end recently popped the question.

“Someone actually reached out to me today and said they might actually be engaged,” the former Dallas Cowboys star said.

“So I might’ve actually broken a story,” he added.

Troy Aikman’s Claims About Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Might Soon Come True

While Troy Aikman’s claims may be unfounded, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has gone beyond one year, and things are progressing every day.

Their relationship just might end up in an engagement and a possible marriage.

Taylor Swift has never been married or divorced, and neither has Kelce.

Fans have closely followed Swift’s relationships since she was a teenager and have been there for the dating and the breakups.

Kelce’s most notable relationship was with Kayla Nicole, whom he dated off and on for years until it ended for good in 2022.

Just know when it does happen, it is going to be a huge event.

ESPN is one of the NFL’s top broadcasting partners, so it only makes sense for them to acquire some of the top broadcasting talent. The fact that Joe Buck is on their main roster speaks volumes about his talent.

Following a nearly three-decade broadcasting career at Fox Sports, Buck joined ESPN in 2022 as a play-by-play announcer for both MLB and the NFL, so obviously, he covered quite the span of topics in his 30-year career.

One of the most prominent storylines the NFL has ever seen is the relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Fans have been following the world’s biggest pop star and the NFL’s best tight end since they got together in 2023, and analysts, by default, have to follow it, too.

After broadcast partner Troy Aikman referred to Swift as “the missus” during Monday Night Football, Buck quickly corrected his cohort’s mistake, asking Aikman if he knew the couple wasn’t yet married.

Joe Buck’s Daughters Told Him Not To Joke About Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce

Aikman joked that he was “in trouble” for the mishap, to which Buck replied that it happens all the time before explaining that his daughters were constantly warning him about joking at the relationship’s expense.

“My daughters have warned me multiple times today, ‘Dad, I know you think you’re funny. Don’t make any jokes,’” Buck said. It doesn’t seem like he was too bothered by his assumed Swifty daughter’s warnings. However, he did adhere to their warnings.

While the two may have been laughing in the broadcast booth, there is no doubt that Kelce, Swift, and the Chiefs got the last laugh on Monday Night Football as they took a 26-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints to remain undefeated in 2024.
