Saints-Chiefs on MNF (Photo via ESPN)
Football conspiracy theorists are now convinced that the NFL is rigged following one of the most coincidental sequences ever. And it had everything to do with Taylor Swift.
It all began when ESPN’s Joe Buck mentioned that there was a New Orleans Saints player with a brother who’s a backup dancer on Swift’s Eras Tour during the visitors’ ‘MNF’ fixture vs the Kansas City Chiefs.
A graphic of Swift in concert even came up on screen after the mention.
Believe it or not, the brother in question, who turned out to be Saints DT Khalen Saunders, stopped Travis Kelce from scoring a touchdown with a cracking helmet-to-helmet tackle at the goal line on the very next play. As if that wasn’t strange enough, he intercepted Patrick Mahomes in the end zone with one hand and then took off running, bulldozing multiple Chiefs players.
