The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to succeed after benching Justin Fields following a 4-2 record, while Russell Wilson continues to show that he is not washed up. The Steelers are currently 6-2 in 2024.

Wilson had a solid game against the Giants, as the Steelers won 26 to 18. The veteran quarterback threw for 278 yards while completing 20 of his 28 passes, even hitting the endzone once in the victory.

However, fans noticed something hilarious about the Steelers’ signal caller during their game against the New York Giants, and they are coming up with some hilarious theories on what they believe might have caused him to break a conversation with his mentoree.

An NFL fan posted a video on social media thinking about what the soon-to-be 36-year-old may have responded to. “I wonder what someone shouted in the crowd that make Russell Wilson break convo here and be like “nah bruh,” asked the fan.

Social Media Believes Music Or A “Kiss” May Have Caught Russell Wilson’s Attention

One NFL fan joked that the Steelers lead quarterback may have asked Wilson about his music taste and if he’s listened to the artist Future. “Aye Russ! You listen to future,” theorized the intrigued fan.

Another social media user went into insane detail about the moment briefly caught on camera, commenting, “It seems like something surprising or funny must have happened in that moment! Russell Wilson’s reaction likely reflects his personality and sense of humor. Fans often shout wild things, so it’s always interesting to see how players respond.”

One fan even suggested that Wilson may have gotten an offer that came way out of left field, theorizing that maybe the quarterback was asked for a “kiss” from a fan who may be way to in to the Steelers.

While we may never know what the fan asked, the Steelers seem pretty happy with their quarterback room, and it looks like it will only get better as they are set to take on the Commanders after a much-needed bye week.

Russell Wilson is truly back.

Despite the backlash the Pittsburgh Steelers have received for changing from Justin Fields to the veteran quarterback, Wilson was still put in the starting position on Sunday Night Football against the New York Jets.

Before he took the field, Russell Wilson found himself going viral after he did his Sunday Night introduction.

Once his face came up on the screen, he said:

“Russell Wilson, from a whole pack of Badgers.”

Wilson attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison for just one season.

In just one season at Wisconsin, Wilson connected on 225 of 309 passes (72.8%) for 3,175 yards, 33 touchdowns, and only four interceptions.

Here is how fans reacted to what he said:

Russell spent more time with North Carolina State.

Wilson led the 2010 Wolfpack to a 9–4 season and was named second-team All-ACC and runner-up for ACC Football Player of the Year.

That year, he graduated from NC State in three years with a BA in communication and took graduate-level business courses in the fall semester during the 2010 football season.

Russell Wilson Initially Won Starting Job Before His Injury

Coach Mike Tomlin announced that Wilson will be the starting QB when the Steelers opened the season on Sept. 8, but an injury would keep him out for weeks.

The veteran quarterback finally opened his season on Sunday Night Football against the Jets.

All he has to do is play well, and he will continue to be the starting QB despite Justin Fields having a winning record.
