Fighters are known for their unfiltered personalities and brash personas. But UFC star Sean Strickland rises above the rest as he has once again made headlines. This time, it’s for his off-the-cuff comments that have landed him in hot water – and on the receiving end of a direct message from Hollywood A-lister Megan Fox.

During a recent appearance on MMA coach Eric Nicksick’s podcast, the outspoken Strickland revealed that Fox had reached out to him. But this was not to gush over his fighting skills or muscular physique but to address his controversial remarks and his past comments, which she felt had contributed to her own children being bullied online.

“Megan Fox DM’d me once. It wasn’t that kind of DM… The message was actually kind of f**ked up. It was more like ‘hey my kids get bullied and I get bullied online coz you said some [expetive]. They’re not trans. They wanna dress like rock stars’. I’m sorry Megan I’m gonna shut the f**k up about it,” said Strickland.

His previous altercation with her ex-fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, seems to have fueled Strickland’s feud with Fox. During a Power Slap event, Strickland criticized the musician’s eccentric outfit, calling him a “vampire,” a jab that didn’t sit well with the artist.

Strickland’s comments about the LGBTQ+ community, which he has made on several occasions, have often landed him in hot water. In one particularly inflammatory rant, the fighter called the community an “infection” and blamed them for basically everything wrong with the world.

Sean Strickland Berates The Trans Community In An Explosive Rant At UFC 297

Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has a knack for stirring up controversy with his inflammatory remarks. He spares none, but at UFC 297 pre-fight press conference, his target was he transgender community.

‘Tarzan‘ launched a blatantly transphobic attack on a journalist who asked him about his opinion on the LGBTQ community in Canada. This was enough to make Strickland fly off the handle and tear the reporter verbally.

“Ten years ago, to be trans, was a mental f**ing illness. And now all of a sudden people like you have f**ing weaselled your way into the world. You are an infection. You are the definition of weakness. Everything that is wrong with the world is because of f**ing you,” Strickland said.

Sean Strickland still remains unapologetic. He doubled down on his position and seemingly relishes the attention and controversy his words have generated. It’s a tactic that has served him well in the past, as the fighter has built a reputation for being one of the more outspoken and polarizing figures in the sport.
