Tyreek Hill wants to see sweeping changes.

The Miami Dolphins star wide receiver is planning to take a significant stand against police misconduct nationwide following the incident that had him handcuffed on the ground outside Hard Rock Stadium earlier this month.

A press release from his attorney states that Hill has retained a dream team of lawyers, including Jeffrey A. Neiman, Stephen B. Kelly, Jr., and Devon M. Jacob.

Many of them have worked on several high-profile cases, including George Floyd’s case.

“Miami Dolphins’ superstar Tyreek Hill said that he will speak for all people in a broad fight against national police misconduct,” a statement by Hill’s lawyer, Julius B. Collins of Atlanta, released to USA TODAY Sports.

“Hill is adamant that his legal team will ensure that the voices of people who have long been ignored or silenced on the issue of police reform will finally be heard.”

Tyreek Hill was forcibly removed from his vehicle and placed in handcuffs after a back and forth about his window not being down.

Tyreek Hill Alleged Police Officer Pinched His Neck During Arrest

Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill made allegations against one of the police officers who arrested him before Week One in Miami.

Hill alleged during an interview on Amazon Prime Video ahead of the team’s “Thursday Night Football” game against the Buffalo Bills that one of the officers pinched him on the neck.

“What people don’t know about, whenever I was handcuffed behind my back, the officer was pinching me on my neck, like trying to get me to do something to him,” Hill said. “It’s just crazy, next-level crazy.”

Unfortunately, bodycam footage that was released after his arrest did not show a full uninterrupted shot of Hill’s neck, but it did show one of the cops with their hands around his neck.

Tyreek Hill did not specifically name the police officer, but the cop who put Hill in handcuffs has been identified as 27-year veteran Danny Torres.

The Miami-Dade Police director placed Torres on paid administrative duty after she said she reviewed the body camera footage from officers.

Former NFL star quarterback Brett Favre has taken a swipe at pop sensation Taylor Swift for political reasons ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.

The 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is known to be a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has previously endorsed him.

He’s since taken a shot at Swift, who recently endorsed Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris following Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes informing everyone that he wouldn’t endorse a candidate.

“Good take by Mahomes,” he wrote in a tweet.

“I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain’t clear and they’re easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it’s not going to be a good thing.”
