A clip of Melania Trump “trying not to laugh” at Kid Rock’s outlandish performance at the Republic National Convention (RNC) has gone viral.

The former First Lady, who has been notably absent from husband Donald Trump’s election campaign, made a surprise appearance night one of the RNC, but many viewers were left wondering if she actually wanted to be there, as they remarked on her reactions to Kid Rock’s performance.

Outspoken Trump supporter Kid Rock, 53, put on a lively performance onstage at the RNC as he blasted out his explicit track, American Bada–.

As he broke into a rap, the camera cut to Melania, 54, whose face seemingly said 1000 words according to viewers at home and people in the audience.

Melania, who was sat with her famously stoic composure, in a bold red two-piece, was seen pursing her lips, as her eyes glittered, with those tuning in convinced she was trying to stifle a laugh.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person remarked: “Melania Trump trying not to laugh at Kid Rock is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.”

While another continued: “That cut from Kid Rock & zoom into Melania’s reaction is perfection.” Another X user said: “Melania is watching Kid Rock with the same quiet, polite loathing as she would an elementary school talent show.” And a fourth added: “Melania can’t believe she’s here. Kid Rock? Amber Rose? Hulk Hogan? Dana White? What a collection of losers.”

NBC News Senior Capitol Hill Correspondent, who was at the RNC, posted: “I’m standing just below the Trump family box, and nobody is enjoying this Kid Rock performance more than JD Vance. Nobody seems to be enjoying it less than Melania Trump.”

The video gaining traction on social media came just ahead of Joe Biden announcing he was withdrawing from the Presidential race.

The 46th President, who is currently battling COVID, shared the news he was stepping aside on X, formerly known as Twitter, but confirmed that he would see out the rest of his term in office.

He also went on to later endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as his replacement in the Presidential race as Donald Trump’s opponent. He posted: “My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President.

“And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.”
