Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, chimes in on Cowboys CRISIS and attacks Jerry Jones: ‘HE’S WORRIED ABOUT FIRING THE WRONG PEOPLE’

Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend hit out at the Dallas Cowboys’ Jerry Jones after the 82-year-old appeared to threaten to have a radio host fired after being grilled about the franchise’s 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Dak Prescott, on a new $240 million deal, and his team have now lost three consecutive home games and Prescott was even pulled out of the game in the final quarter when it was apparent the result couldn’t be salvaged.

So emotions boiled over for the Cowboys boss when he felt he was being asked about all the things wrong at the AT&T Stadium without getting any credit for things going well, as Jones said, “That’s not your job. I’ll get somebody else to ask these questions. I’m not kidding.”

He attracted widespread criticism for the comments after they were posted online by The Athletic’s Jon Machota, including from Nicole, who dated Kelce from 2017-2022 before he began dating the popstar, Taylor Swift.

“Can someone let Pappa Jerry know he’s worried about firing the wrong people?,” Nicole posted to X.com, formerly Twitter.

Nicole, who worked as a television presenter and journalist, previously said she wondered who would be getting fired after seeing the scoreline during the blowout loss on the Cowboys’ home patch.

Jones claims buying Cowboys was a mistake

It’s likely that Jones is currently experiencing a lot of head loss after $376m of his $15.49 billion of net worth went into locking Prescott and CeeDee Lamb down to long-term deals, although both have been ineffective so far.

The owner, president and general manager of the team, Jones is heavily involved in day-to-day running and despite guiding the franchise to three Super Bowl wins through the 1990s, revealed that he would consider his 1989 purchase a mistake, though things have since panned out.

“One of the stupidest things I’ve ever done,” Jones continued on 105.3 The Fan. “That anybody had ever analyzed was buy the Cowboys. It was an idiot that did that.

“So idiot things can turn into good decisions. Smart things can turn into bad decisions. The facts are when you make one, you don’t really know if it’s going to be good or not at the time. You want some conversation this morning, you’re getting it.”
