Robert Cole Parmalee is charged with breach of peace, electronic stalking, and harassment. The stalking charge is a felony charge.

Connecticut State Police stopped him while he was walking near Bradley International Airport.

The 40-year-old posted statements on TikTok and sent emails to University of Connecticut officials expressing an infatuation with Bueckers and including threats.

“And if I cannot live with a woman of my choosing, [Bueckers], then I will choose to die, and I will choose to take all of you that [op]pose me, oppose us, to hell, and return, king…” one TikTok post said.

According to UConn Police, via ESPN, university officials became aware of Parmalee in June after receiving “rambling emails.”

“Police said Parmalee’s emails claimed he was a member of the royal family and wanted to marry a member of the women’s basketball team. His social media posts contained dozens of references to Bueckers, including a post of a fake wedding invitation and multiple photos of Parmalee with what appears to be a diamond engagement ring.”

ESPN stated Parmalee allegedly began sending videos of himself directly to Bueckers via Instagram in February.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily have had to evacuate their home this week because of Hurricane Helene.

The hurricane hit northern Florida pretty hard, causing major flooding and power loss.

Mayfield, his wife Emily, their daughter, and their dog left their residence before the storm hit as a means of caution. Emily furnished her followers with an update on Friday.

“Baker, Koko, Fergus and I evacuated yesterday and are safe,” she said via Instagram. “Our sweet, sweet community got pummeled, but even that doesn’t compare to the people up North who took this storm head on. It’s unfathomable.”

Emily is grateful that Helene did not affect the Mayfield home but revealed she was “praying nonstop” for the people dealing with the impact while also offering tangible assistance.

“I am looking for ways to get out and tangibly help,” she added. “Please send me anything you find, and I will share the good ones.”
