Gerrit Cole is currently on the mound for the New York Yankees as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in a highly-anticipated World Series.

He might not be talked about as much as players like Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, but his talent cannot be ignored.

In the meantime, his wife, Amy Cole Crawford, is stealing the show.

Amy Cole Crawford is going viral amid the World Series.

After several years of dating, Gerrit and Amy married in 2016, and three years later, he signed a huge nine-year contract with the New York Yankees for $324 million.

Once they moved to New York, Amy would announce her pregnancy and would soon welcome their son in June 2020.

In 2023, the couple would announce the arrival of their second child.

Gerrit Cole Has The Chance To Steal Game 1 of The World Series On The Road

All eyes may be on several batters in the Dodgers and Yankees series, but Gerrit Cole cannot be ignored.

The biggest names between the star-studded Yankees and Dodgers are in the lineups, but more often than not, pitching rules in October.

Cole missed about half the season and struggled to regain his 2023 form when he was healthy.

The 34-year-old right-hander ended up 8-5 with a 3.41 ERA in 17 starts this past regular season.

He would then follow that up with a win and a pair of no-decisions in the postseason series wins over the Kansas City Royals and Cleveland Guardians.

Cole posted a 3.31 ERA over 16 1/3 innings.

If Gerrit Cole has his good stuff tonight, then the Yankees can put all the pressure on the Dodgers.

The Guardians produced an astonishing late comeback in their American League Championship battle with the Yankees, and Travis Kelce loved every minute of it.

The Yankees were poised to go 3-0 up in the series when Aaron Judge hit a two-run home run to tie the game, and then Giancarlo Stanton hit another home run to give the Yanks the lead.

However, Guardians outfielder Jhonkensy Noel forced an extra inning after a sensational game-tying home run in the 9th inning, as they were down to their last out.

David Fry proved to be the hero for Cleveland with a walk-off homer in extra innings.

Travis Kelce, who was born around 15 miles west of Cleveland, was left ecstatic after his beloved baseball team’s remarkable victory on home turf.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end wrote on X after the game: ‘Playoff baseball baby!!! @CleGuardians have the city absolutely ROCKIN TONIGHT!! What a game!’
