Some Taylor Swift fans were shocked when they opened their email to find a message about their recent order from her online store.

One Taylor fan posted a screenshot on Twitter of a message they got about a recent merch order. “Hey there, Thank you for your recent order from the Taylor Swift Store,” it started.

“We are contacting you today because the release date for your item(s) has changed. The new release date is the 15th December 2024. The new date applies if. you have ordered one or more of any of the products below,” the message continued.

It then listed out the items: 1989 Taylors Version Eras Puffy Stickers; Christmas Tree Farm Design Ornament; Christmas Tree Farm Hair Ties; Lover House Snowglobe; On A Wishing Star Crewneck; Speak Now Taylors Version Frame Snowglobe; and Taylor Swift Navy Dad Hat.

The items range in price from $15 (about £11.80) to $65 (about £51.11). The least expensive item is the hair ties while the crewneck is the most expensive.

Fans replied to the original tweet with shock and horror about the year long wait. “Surely that’s a mistake omg???” one fan wrote. Another added: “You’ll get them before Christmas just not this one.”

One fan chimed in that they got the same email, adding: “This has to be a sick joke.” It appears that this seems to be a trend with Taylor’s merch, as another Twitter user said: “A year is crazy thought my speak now cardigan taking over four months to ship was bad.”

Other Twitter users posted their own orders on the Twitter thread, saying it was odd because they received their orders. “That must be a mistake because I got this today???” one fan wrote.

“So I had that too but I also had this yesterday,” another wrote, attaching a screenshot of an email they received that their order was on its way.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old singer recently wrapped up the Latin American leg of her Worldwide Eras Tour. She’s now reportedly “moved in” with her beau, American football player Travis Kelce, for a couple of weeks before continuing on her tour in Europe.
