The recent episode had Goku fight Tamagami for the Dragon Balls. In his transformation, he uses Kamehameha and can incapacitate Tamagami. His kid form is no longer a crutch as he can spar skilfully in his mini version.

The series also gives us a glimpse of the Glind race in the recent episode but that is not the end of it. Kaioshin’s ability to destroy Panzy’s collar is tied to his race when he reveals his true name to her.
