Caitlin Clark ignites the crowd with more than just her basketball prowessAP

Caitlin Clark proved to Indiana Fever fans that she can do more than just shoot the basketball when she put her cannon of an arm on display. She showed off unbelievable distance and precision while throwing mini basketballs into the stands during a timeout, leading those in the crowd and everybody who saw the video on social media to wonder if there’s anything she can’t do.

The WNBA rookie is a generational athlete, and she has never been shy about showing it off in any way she can. Already this season, she has been filmed dominating her teammates in baseball and golf competitions held within the Fever squad.

That diehard competitive attitude is what makes her great and invites comparisons to Kobe Bryant, but it has also gotten her into trouble on the court. Lord help the next person who tries to take her bowling

Calls for Clark to switch sports

Many fans of NFL teams with struggling quarterbacks made the same joke online after seeing the video. They posited that it would be worthwhile to give Clark a try under center.

She’s taller than Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, and could probably sell more tickets than Jacoby Brissett in New England. Indiana locals probably have an eye on her as well given Anthony Richardson‘s inconsistency in his young Colts career.

Putting her athleticism to use

All that athleticism is busy breaking women’s basketball records left and right. She holds the WNBA record for points in a rookie season, and the single-season assists record, regardless of age. The list goes on and on.

She has done it all while averaging over 35 minutes per game. That mark is the second-most in the league this season, another indicator of Clark’s superhuman athleticism.
