Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has received widespread backlash over the past week for endorsing Donald Trump on social media.

Last week, fans noticed that Brittany Mahomes “liked” a post from Trump’s Instagram account that outlined the GOP’s platform for the 2024 U.S. election. Trump, who easily secured the Republican nomination, is running against Democratic and Vice President Kamala Harris.

After the criticism began to mount, Mrs. Mahomes took to social media with a stern message for her haters:

Brittany further addressed the growing backlash during her appearance on the “WHOOP” podcast. In the interview, she shared the advice that Patrick gave her when it comes to tuning out the noise on social media:

“He is very good at blocking people out so having him beside has helped. The main thing he always told me is to stop caring what people think – especially the people that don’t even know you.

I think social media used to get to me a lot. Now, it’s just like, honestly, I don’t give a f**k what people have to say about me anymore. And I think he has helped me get to that point.

I am strong in who I am. I am confident in who I am. I’m confident in mine and his relationship and I am confident in our lives. So why does what other people say have to matter at all?”

Unlike Brittany, Patrick has tried to avoid publicly discussing politics altogether. The three-time Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl MVP has declined to endorse either party or candidate.

At any rate, the couple have far more important personal matters to focus on. In July, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes announced they’re expecting their third child together. Soon after, they announced that the gender is a girl.

The 2024 United States presidential election will be held on Nov. 5. If Kamala Harris wins, she will become the first American woman president. If Trump is victorious, he’ll become the second president to serve two non-consecutive terms, joining Grover Cleveland.

Patrick & Brittany Mahomes Are Gearing Up For A New NFL Season

With the preseason over and all 53-man rosters finalized, Patrick and his Chiefs can now focus on meaningful games. The Chiefs will kick off their 2024 season with a home tilt against reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens next Thursday at Arrowhead Stadium.

Brittany will be in attendance for Chiefs games to cheer on Kansas City and their bid to pull off the first Super Bowl three-peat in NFL history.

Kevin Durant has wrapped up the Paris Olympics in remarkable fashion, becoming the only player in history to win four gold medals in men’s basketball. After returning from injury to lead Team USA, Durant’s performance has fueled high expectations for the Phoenix Suns in the upcoming NBA season.

Amid this success, Durant’s time with the Golden State Warriors has come back into focus, especially through the words of his mother, Wanda Durant. Wanda recently boldly stated that if Team USA’s top scorer had stayed with the Warriors team, they could have dominated the league for years.

We would’ve had 20 rings by now. And it was about 10 years ago. That’s how cold they were,” Wanda said on the latest episode of TV One’s “Raising Fame.

Durant joined the Warriors in 2016 and quickly made an impact, leading the team to two consecutive championships in 2017 and 2018. However, after the 2018 season, Durant left Golden State and signed with the Brooklyn Nets. He departed after a difficult 2019 NBA Finals, where he suffered a ruptured Achilles while playing against the Toronto Raptors.
