This is not the first time that some drama has ensued surrounding a pair of Steph Curry’s sneakers. On Dec. 8, 2016, the Golden State Warriors played against the Utah Jazz.
Once the game concluded, Curry took off his sneakers while sitting on the bench. He signed both shoes before handing them to a kid in the stands. However, a different person stepped in and tried to steal the signed shoes.
There was a bit of a scuffle which prompted security to step in. Eventually, the shoes were returned to the kid. Once he got the sneakers, some fans gave the kid a high five.
