Bueckers’ post featured pictures from her time at UConn, capturing her connection with the team and the community. In the caption, she expressed gratitude for her career’s recent progression.

“Living the dream, THANK YOU GOD,” she wrote.

Muhl, a former UConn player, has been an avid supporter of Bueckers throughout her college career. The two played together with the Huskies.

In Muhl’s final collegiate year, she and Bueckers led the University of Connecticut to the NCAA Final Four, before Muhl was drafted in the second round of the 2024 WNBA draft. Bueckers, on the other hand, chose to finish her college career before turning professional in 2025.

Projected to be the number one pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Paige Bueckers is set to join the Dallas Wings. In her senior year at UConn, she’s averaging 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists and is also leading the side.

Bueckers’ rising popularity in women’s basketball has propelled her to the position of the second-highest NIL earner this season. Her endorsement deals with Nike, Madison Reed, and Bose are further elevating her profile ahead of the upcoming WNBA season.

Aside from her brilliance in basketball, Bueckers is also a popular figure among fans owing to her charm and positive outlook. In a video circulating on social media, Bueckers encouraged a fan to pursue what they love and to not let anyone hinder their growth.

“Continue to work hard. Dream big. Don’t let anything kill your dreams. You’ll have good days, you’ll have bad days. But, just stay with it. Stay focused,” Bueckers said to a fan who wanted advice.

Bueckers was signing autographs and answering fan questions before offering words of encouragement to a patient fan who had waited for her after a UConn game.

Bueckers is expected to lead the Huskies’ charge for the rest of the year as they try to end their eight-year championship drought.
