Football fans are teeing off on the NFL refs following several questionable game-changing calls in the Pittsburgh Steelers-Kansas City Chiefs Christmas Day game.
The Chiefs and Steelers were squaring off at Acrisure Stadium in the first of two Christmas Day games. But once again, a highly-anticipated football game has been overshadowed by the NFL refs making head-scratching calls.
For starters, Jaylen Warren’s rushing touchdown to put the Steelers on the board was called back by a questionable holding penalty on Darnell Washington. On the next play, Russell Wilson was picked off by Justin Reid:
Later on in the second quarter, the NFL refs blew the whistle early after George Pickens made a catch near midfield. If they didn’t blow it prematurely, Pickens could have had an even bigger run:
As you would expect, fans accused the NFL refs of “rigging” this game in favor of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs:

“This is getting to be such a terrible product when the Chiefs play,” a fan wrote.
“Told you, Taylor Swift is the commissioner!!,” another joked.
“No shocker,” said a fan.
“Typical Chiefs game… TD by the opposite team? Let’s throw a flag to negate the play,” a fan said.
“Unsportsmanlike on KC wasn’t a flag?,” asked a user.
“Nothing changes until we stop watching, which we won’t,” claimed another.
“If anyone is surprised, I feel sorry for you,” a fan wrote.

Adam Schefter Ended Mike Florio’s Career Exposing Him On Twitter Over Inaccurate Report About Pete Carroll With Ruthless Christmas Day Message

The long-running feud between prominent NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Mike Florio carried over to Christmas Day.
On Wednesday, Adam Schefter reported that former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has interest in returning to the NFL coaching ranks, and that the Chicago Bears are on his radar.
The Pro Football Talk insider wrote a follow-up piece on Schefter’s report, suggesting that there were inaccuracies and that Carroll’s agent is simply using the media to his advantage:
“It’s one thing to express authentic and organic and unsolicited opinions, like we did recently when questioning whether Brian Flores’s lawsuit against the NFL and multiple teams will stand in the way of a second head-coaching opportunity. It’s another thing to let your strings be pulled by “sources” (probably only one source, but making it plural always sounds better) who want to get their back scratched — and who will return the favor, possibly many times over.”
That’s where Adam Schefter clapped back at his longtime nemesis with a savage X/Twitter message:

As expected, Florio wouldn’t go quietly into the afternoon:
Well, let’s just go ahead and assume that Schefter and Florio didn’t exchange Christmas cards this year. Regardless, hopefully both hard-working insiders are having a nice holiday with their families.
Adam Schefter & Mike Florio Give NFL Fans Some Extra Entertainment
You rarely see insiders in any sport clash with each other publicly, and that’s what makes the Schefter-Florio feud so intriguing for fans. There was great competition between Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski, but the two never feuded on social media the way Schefter and Florio have.
