Kay Adams and Shams Charania (via Up & Adams)
Kay Adams is one of the most famous NFL personalities on the internet. Her name is mentioned along the lines of the Pat McAfees of the world, which means she does indeed make headlines from time to time.
During a recent episode of her Up and Adams podcast, she invited Shams Charania to talk about Halloween Candies, among other things. This was quite an exciting podcast, as fans have theorized for years that the two were romantically linked.
These rumors only heated up to the max when Charania was a guest on the aforementioned Pat McAfee Show about many things. Still, he wasn’t expecting McAfee to mention his involvement with Adams.
Charania only made the speculation worse by avoiding the question altogether while praising the media personality in the act. “I think she’s amazing at what she does. I enjoy going on her show,” Charania told McAfee.
Kay Adams Claims ‘Almond Joy’ Prevented Shams Charania From Dating Her
While on Adams’ most recent episode of her podcast, Charania was asked about his favorite Halloween Candies. He brought up the Almonds Joy and Twizlers, among other things, and Kay’s reaction said it all.

Shams: “I’m gonna go almond joy…”
Kay: “Almond joy? We never would’ve worked out.” 😭@heykayadams pic.twitter.com/8JiJqBsg9D— Up & Adams (@UpAndAdamsShow) October 31, 2024
After Charania named the chocolate treat as his number one Halloween candy, Kay Adams looked disgusted. “Almond Joy? We would have never worked,” she said, ensuring fans knew her thoughts on Almond Joy.
Even though Adams essentially shut down all rumors of a romantic relationship between the two, fans will continue to speculate that there is still a chance we will see her and Charania link up for more than a podcast in the future.
