Cardi B Exposes the Truth After Offset’s Claims That She Cheated On Him While Pregnant

Cardi B and Offset have given their all into their fairytale romance but all is not well in loverʼs paradise as the pair finally gets messy with the divorce.

The world of celebrities, musicians, politicians, and other public figures has been embroiled in scandal as far back as memory can serve. Cardi B’s latest dispute with her ex-beau Offset is just one of the many bumps along the road. And in the course of unfortunate events, perhaps the most upsetting is the pair’s openly aired dirty laundry that has currently been flooding the internet.

While celebrity affairs and scandals have been some of the oldest and most incurable relationship wreckers, their frequency has never seemed to taper down with time. Among the countless victims, Cardi B and Offset’s relationship appears to have taken the most recent hit.

Cardi B and Offset: Relationship Timeline

After first meeting at an industry event in 2016 and pursuing Cardi B consistently, Offset and the Bodak Yellow singer went public at the 2017 Super Bowl, secretly tying the knot in September that same year. Through the years, the pair have collaborated professionally and had three children together, namely, Kulture (6), Wave (3), and a baby girl born on September 7, 2024.

However, trouble began to brew in paradise when Offset became embroiled in a rumored affair mere months after their wedding. While confirming the veracity of those rumors, Cardi B also announced her decision to “work out my shit with my man…” [via Cosmopolitan]. 2 months later, she announced her first pregnancy.

After battling rumors of infidelity from fans and online critics, the couple finally called it quits after being exposed to the harsh reality of living under the spotlight. In December 2018, Cardi B made it official in a video posted to Instagram. However, in February 2019, the couple made their reconciliation public by walking on the Grammys red carpet together.

Later, in a December 2019 interview with Vogue, Cardi B claimed:

Everybody has issues. I believe in forgiveness […] And we just came to an understanding like, bro, it’s really us against the world. He has my back for everything, I have his back for everything […] For me, monogamy is the only way.

However, this happy reconciliation was yet to be their last since Cardi B filed for divorce in September 2020 and called it off a month later saying, “We’re just] two young motherf**krs that got married early. That’s just what we are. We’re no different than y’all’s dysfunctional ass relationships.” [via Entertainment Tonight] In September 2021, the pair welcomed their son and 3 years later, in September 2024, the couple’s daughter was born months after Cardi B filed for divorce.

Cardi B Exposes the Truth About Offset’s Allegations

In a recent Instagram Live, Cardi B went all out in terms of spilling the tea on her ex-husband, Offset. The rapper exposed the latter for “threatening” to take away the things that she worked hard to earn and about starting a “court war.” Cardi B also insinuated that it is Offset who has been having trouble moving on from their relationship and that she had already done so.

As the IG Live gained a steady stream of 38.2k viewers, Offset appeared in the comments to land a cutting remark about Cardi B being unfaithful when she was pregnant with their third, asking her to “tell the truth.”
