Yi Jianlian, a former Los Angeles Lakers star, is embroiled in a scandal over allegations of soliciting prostitution. The controversy intensified when a naked photo of him, along with a picture of his identification card, began circulating online.

According to recent reports by Dimsumdaily Hong Kong, a scandal came to light when a social media user uploaded a naked photo of Yi Jianlian in a hotel room. The post also included a screenshot of a chat showing a transaction of US$1,500.

According to reports, Yi Jianlian has not responded to the allegations. The news quickly went viral on the internet, with many fans reacting to the incident.

The former Los Angeles Lakers star is a married individual with two children. His wife’s name is Jing Ling, and she is a model whom he met during his university days. Any allegations of solicitation could potentially pose a severe threat to his reputation, both personally and professionally.

 

Multiple Brands Discontinued Promotions Featuring Former Los Angeles Lakers Star Jianlian Following Scandal

Numerous brands that had previously collaborated with Yi Jianlian swiftly distanced themselves from the athlete as the news rapidly spread across various media platforms.

Significant companies like China Life Insurance, China Guangfa Bank, OPPO, and Nature’s Bay, which had recently entered into partnerships with Yi, promptly removed any promotional materials featuring him from their social media profiles. On the other hand, brands such as Nike, Deppon Express, and L’Oreal Paris Men Expert have opted to retain their presence on their social media pages.

Yi Jianlian played for the Milwaukee Bucks, the New Jersey Nets, the Washington Wizards, and the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. In August 2016, he signed a one-year contract with the Lakers, marking his return to the NBA for the first time since 2012.
