On his 40th birthday, LeBron took to Instagram to thank his supporters, writing, “Until the day is over with I appreciate the love.”

And while fans and fellow NBA stars sent their well-wishes, it was Gloria’s message that resonated most deeply.

The proud mother, who raised LeBron as a single parent in Akron, shared a touching post on her own Instagram.

“Oh my son! There are sooooooo many great things that I can say about you. But they still wouldn’t be enough to say how proud and honored that I am and have been to be your Mother,”Gloria wrote.

“Happy 40th Birthday. May God bless you with many more. Love you, Mama.”

For Gloria, the journey from raising LeBron as a teenager to witnessing his evolution into an NBA icon has been nothing short of remarkable.

Her sacrifices as a single mother have not only shaped LeBron’s character but also his approach to the game.

Despite the adversity they faced, Gloria worked tirelessly to provide for her son and shield him from the hardships of their environment.

As LeBron embarks on his 21st NBA season with the Los Angeles Lakers, still chasing his fifth championship, his mother’s influence remains ever-present.

Fans have been quick to recognize the role Gloria played in LeBron’s success.

One fan commented, “Thank you for raising him well. You are the true queen.”

Another added, “Credit to you for being such a great mother! I hope you and Bron have a great day.”

In return, LeBron has often credited his mother for the foundation she provided him, and even referred to her as his “GOAT” during the 2023 ESPYs.

Although there are still five months to go until the start of the 2025 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark can’t wait any longer. The Indiana Fever guard has made the most of her first offseason, but a recent comment on Instagram made it clear that she is eager to return to the court.

Clark had an exceptional first year as a professional. Not only did she break several rookie and overall records, but she was also a key piece in the team’s return to the postseason after an eight-year absence.

After being eliminated in the first round of playoffs, the former Iowa Hawkeye dedicated herself to enjoying a well-deserved rest, attending several college basketball games, NBA games, and even some NFL games. However, a Fever Instagram post reignited the competitive fire in Clark.

In a recent Instagram clip, the Fever showed forward/center Aliyah Boston working out on the court with a trainer. The clip is only a couple of minutes long, but you can see that Boston is taking her upcoming debut with Vinyl BC in the 3×3 Unrivaled league very seriously.

Boston’s intense work inspired Clark, who responded by saying, “GOT ME FIRED UP.” Acknowledging Clark’s enthusiasm, Boston replied, “AS YOU SHOULD BE.” Clark wasn’t the only one. Teammate, guard Lexie Hull, also responded to the video by saying, “Yes, ma’am.”

Meanwhile, the team captioned the post, “On the offseason grind with Aliyah Boston at Worcester Academy.” However, Clark, Boston, and Hull still have plenty of offseason left. The 2025 WNBA season kicks off on May 16, and Indiana will be in action on the 17th, hosting Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky.
