Football fans are offering prayers and messages of support for Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss following a worrisome announcement about his health.
On Friday, ESPN announced that Randy Moss is taking a leave from their popular “Sunday Night Countdown” program to deal with an undisclosed health matter. This came five days after Moss announced in an Instagram video that he had an “internal” battle before asking fans for prayers.
In the video, Moss addressed concerns from fans who noticed a yellow tint in his eyes. The 47-year-old added that he’ll be wearing sunglasses more frequently, but again didn’t specify the health issues.
Following ESPN’s announcement on Randy Moss, the football world quickly came together to offer prayers and supportive messages for the former star wide receiver.
“We’re all praying for you Randy! 🙏,” one fan wrote.
“Get well soon, Rand,” said another.
“Prayers up – whatever he’s going through is about to get Mossed,” another fan said.
“An NFL legend, hope all is well and he’s back on the air soon!,” a fan wrote.
‘
“This is so sad to see. Prayers for Randy,” a fan wrote.
“Wishing Randy Moss strength and a smooth recovery during this time,” another fan said.
“Vikings Nation is here to support and pray for you, Randy. We love you!,” wrote a user.
“Wishing a speedy recovery to one of the best to ever play the game,” said another.
Whatever the six-time Pro Bowler is going through, we hope he has a safe and speedy recovery and will be back on the air sooner rather than later.
We’ll be sure to provide more details on his health as they become available.
Randy Moss Had A Decorated NFL Career
There’s a case to be made that Moss is the greatest wide receiver in NFL history. Jerry Rice obviously has the stats and accolades, but no wideout in history could match Moss in terms of pure athleticism, speed and mobility.
Moss led the NFL in receiving touchdowns five times in his career, including a single-season record 23 TDs with Tom Brady’s New England Patriots in the 2007 season. If Moss had more than two years with Brady, there’s no telling how much better his numbers would be.
Moss retired with 982 receptions for 15, 292 yards and 156 touchdowns. He played in two Super Bowls during his career (2007 with the Patriots and 2012 with the San Francisco 49ers).
VIDEO: A’ja Wilson Sends Social Media Into A Frenzy After Claiming She Would Beat Josh Hart In A 1v1
Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in women’s basketball. Her outstanding achievements and dominant performances on the court have boosted her confidence in her skills. However, this confidence has recently caused her some trouble, as NBA fans criticized her for a recent statement she made.
In a recent episode of the “Roommates” show, Wilson stunned both the NBA and WNBA by claiming that she could defeat New York Knicks star Josh Hart in a one-on-one matchup. Additionally, she predicted that the final score would be 11-8.
“Score would be 11-8, me. I’m not saying you gonna go scoreless, 8 to 11 is pretty solid. So, what do you think it’ll be, Josh?” Wilson said.
Although Josh and Wilson both had a good laugh during their conversation, Wilson’s comment stirred up the basketball community. “She’d lose 11-0 w him only playing w his offhand,” one fan said.
