Netflix debuted its NFL scorebug during its Christmas Day games, but not many people liked it.
The NFL took the money and ran when the streaming giant offered them over $100 million for the lone broadcast rights to two games on Christmas Day.
The streaming giant hit the jackpot as they hope to make their imprint in live sports.
It started badly, as many fans were not thrilled with the scorebug they rolled out.
It began when the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Pittsburgh Steelers and then continued with the late game as the Houston Texans took on the Baltimore Ravens.
“The Netflix score box is the worse thing I’ve ever seen. It’s an absolute monstrosity,” One fan said.

“The Netflix scoreboard for Christmas Day games is ass lmao,” a second fan added.
A third fan said: “The Netflix score bug isn’t awful, but it’s not my favorite.”
“Netflix score bug is awful. Want to see a little indication that it’s Christmas. Miss the old fox ones with Christmas lights in the border,” another X user said.
“The Netflix score bug is god awful get it away from my eyes sweet Jesus,” a fifth fan stated.
“And here’s a look at the scorebug for Ravens-Texans. That centering issue with PIT appears to have been fixed here,” ONE FINAL COMMENT SAID.
NetFlix Dealt With Two Blowouts On Christmas
Netflix’s decision to spend $150 million for the rights to two NFL games turned into a dud.
The Kansas City Chiefs traveled to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17 and blew them out 29-10.
The next game was even worse as the Ravens took a step toward winning the AFC North title, dominating the Houston Texans 31-2.

José de la Torre is dead at 37, according to reports.
The actor, best known for his role in the Netflix hit series ‘Top Boy,’ died in his native Spain on December 5. A funeral service was held the day after.
These reports come from Montilla Digital, Variety, and the New York Post, although none of the outlets could reveal the actor’s cause of death.
José had previously shared that he was dealing with a “serious illness,” taking to social media to disclose as much before stopping all public appearances and disappearing from various platforms.
The Spaniard’s last Instagram post is from early June, where he’s shown enjoying Barceló Desalia 2024 in the Canary Islands with friends. He looked healthy then and shared several photos showing him smiling as he celebrated the event.

Multiple Celebrities React To The Death Of Spanish Actor José de la Torre
“It breaks my heart to think I’ll never hear your voice again, but I’ll keep talking to you,” actress Luisa Martin wrote on IG. “Love you endlessly, José.”
Singer Pablo Alborán wrote, “I can’t believe you’re gone so soon. I’m devastated by your departure. I’m sending kisses to all of your family and friends.
“We’ll never forget you Jose. Wherever you are, I’m sure you’re wearing a Hawaiian shirt, a killer moustache, and those sunglasses like the ones we wore that day.”
José, born in Montilla, Córdoba, Andalucía, Spain in 1987, had acting ambitions very early in life. He attended the Higher School of Dramatic Art in Malaga and made his acting debut in the aforementioned Netflix show.
After the series ‘ success, he would go on to land a role in ‘Vis a Vis: El Oasis and Amar es para Siempre.’
