Traffic infractions against Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill received a final ruling this week.
According to Andy Slater of FOX Sports 640, Hill’s traffic tickets for careless driving and a seatbelt violation have been dismissed.
Slater reported on X, “Tyreek Hill’s traffic tickets for careless driving and a seatbelt violation have been dismissed. The Miami-Dade Police officers failed to show up to a court hearing, I’m told.”

Tyreek Hill stole all of the major headlines after he was caught out near the stadium in a situation with police that got so intense that he was placed in handcuffs.
Video footage showed him being forcibly removed from his vehicle and thrown to the ground by irate cops after he refused to keep his window down.
One of the officers and at least two others involved in Hill’s detainment were placed on Administrative leave amid an internal affairs investigation. It remains unclear if those officers are still on administrative leave.
Tyreek Hill was subsequently released and went on to play in the Dolphins’ 20-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, registering seven catches for 130 receiving yards and one touchdown. That still remains his best game of the year.
Hill’s biggest moment during the game was scoring on an 80-yard catch-and-run from Tua. He celebrated with an iconic handcuff gesture.
Tyreek Hill Considered Legal Action Against Miami Dade
Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill’s legal team stated months ago that they were pursuing legal action against the Miami-Dade Police Department and officers involved in his brief detainment before an NFL game in September.
Body camera footage showed Hill being pulled over. He kept his window halfway down when an officer told him to put it down completely.
He did not comply, and it led to Hill being dragged out of his car, handcuffed, and forced to the ground in a sitting position while the Dolphins star said he was having knee pain.
The police report said Hill was “weaving through traffic in an aggressive manner” and that Tyreek Hill became uncooperative when asked to keep his window down and refused “several commands” to exit the vehicle.
Hill’s Atlanta-based attorney, Julius Collins, said the report was false and demanded accountability at the time.
“The report that was completed on this matter by the officer who initiated a traffic stop, he claimed that Tyreek resisted,” Collins said. “He said Tyreek refused to sit down, which you see from the body camera is absolutely incorrect. There has to be some accountability for those types of things as well, right?”

A photo of a female hockey fan who was busting out of her jeans at a Leafs-Devils game in early 2024 has gone viral online again.
Said supporter was pictured in the stands wearing a Devils Jack Hughes jersey, but that was probably the least interesting thing about her as a lower body part caused her to trend on X.
A new set of photos of her showing her assets off has popped up online ahead of the weekend, with one of the accounts posting asking, “Are you a hockey fan?”
