With immense love from the fans comes harsh criticism from the haters! The same is the case of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who constantly dominates the NBA headlines. An old incident surfaced on social media: Fox Sports host Joy Taylor accused NFL legend and her former colleague Shannon Sharpe of being paid to claim LeBron is the GOAT.

The recording appears to be during Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless’ “Undisputed” show on Fox Sports, which Joy Taylor hosted. It was posted on X from a verified account, Thetruth, known for sharing narratives against the Lakers star. The account also shared NBA analyst Ric Bucher’s allegations on Klutch Sports for dictating the storylines of LeBron James’ career.

In the Joy Taylor recording, the FS1 host seemingly exposed Shannon Sharpe for getting paid to claim LeBron James is the greatest. She said, “I have some inside information as to why you’re saying LeBron [James] is the GOAT now. Shannon can be bought. His loyalty can be bought.”

However, the laughs can be heard clearly, which indicates that it could be a humorous remark to poke fun at Sharpe. Also, the NFL legend has admired LeBron James’ skills for years. The fans gave a mixed reaction as some called the four-time NBA champion a fraud while others stood up for James.

Where Are The Former “Undisputed” Team Now?

In 2018, Joy Taylor left Skip and Shannon: Undisputed to serve as a news anchor for “The Herd With Colin Cowherd.” She co-hosts the FS1 show “Speak” with LeSean McCoy and Emmanuel Acho.

After his exit in January 2023 following an argument with his co-analyst Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe joined ESPN’s First Take. He co-hosts alongside Stephen A. Smith and Molly Querim. Last month, Skip signed off from FS1 and has started “The Skip Bayless Show” on YouTube.
