Robert Griffin III had a promising NFL career lined up after being drafted by the then-Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2012 NFL Entry Draft out of Baylor. However, we all know how his career would, unfortunately, end up.
Griffin III would lead the Washington Redskins to a playoff appearance, their first since the 2007 NFL season when they also coincidentally lost to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Wild Card Round as well.
Griffin III would go on to join both the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens, where he would play backup quarterback before retiring to become an analyst for ESPN in 2021, a position he would hold until just over four seasons later.
Recently, the former NFL signal-caller found himself in the middle of a beef with a Barstool Sports personality known as Big Cat over the recent coaching changes that have begun in Chicago, namely with the Bears firing head coach Matt Eberflus.
Robert Griffin III Fires Back At Big Cat
“This isn’t a victory lap,” RGIII wrote, addressing Big Cat’s response to a comment he made on his podcast. “I feel bad for you and all Bears fans… you deserve better. Bears fans deserve better,” he wrote, something Griffin III knows all too well.
This isn’t a victory lap @BarstoolBigCat
I feel bad for you and all Bears Fans and Bears media.
You deserve better.
Bears fans deserve better.I tried to tell you that coaching matters.
I tried to tell you that structure matters.
And some of y’all treated me like the nice… pic.twitter.com/J20NjhQOig— Robert Griffin III (@RGIII) November 30, 2024
“I tried to tell you that coaching matters. I tried to tell you that structure matters. And some of y’all treated me like the nice guy,” Griffin III wrote before calling Big Cats X response stupid after ignoring him.
Griffin III stated that Caleb Williams should have used his leverage on the Bears before commenting, “Now Caleb will have his 3rd offensive coordinator and 2nd Head Coach in his 2nd year in the NFL instead of growing with the same Head Coach and staff.”
Unfortunately, Griffin III knows more about challenging quarterback situations than most, as he himself was placed in one by the Redskins during the early part of his NFL career as he struggled through injuries. But the question remains: how is Big Cat going to respond?
Kansas City Chiefs President Forced To Address Rumors That Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Relationship Is Just A “Marketing Strategy” For The Team

There’s a conspiracy theory for just about everything, including bizarre ones relating to the highly publicized relationship between Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has been in a relationship with Taylor Swift for over a year. Their rumored romance was confirmed when Swift attended the Chiefs’ Week 3, 2023 home game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelce’s romance with Swfit has been a giant win for the Chiefs and the NFL, too. She has brought plenty more attention to the NFL and contributed to the Chiefs’ skyrocketing popularity worldwide.
Naturally, conspiracy theorists believe the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance is simply a marketing ploy to help the Chiefs and the league. But Chiefs president Mark Donovan finally addressed the ridiculous rumor during an appearance on NBC’s “Squawk Box” program:
“I’d love to say that it was a marketing strategy, but it is an authentic relationship. And we’re happy to have it, and it’s been nothing but good for us.
I think the best thing I can say about the whole relationship and the impact it’s had on us is, Taylor Swift is an authentic member of the Kansas City Chiefs kingdom. She’s an authentic fan and that matters to our fans and our fan base and to matters to us and we try to respect that.”
