Joe Buck has been in the broadcasting business since 1989. Since 2022, he has been the lead voice for FOX NFL and has been with long-time broadcasting partner Troy Aikman since 2005.

Years into his career, he married his now-wife Michelle Beisner-Buck in 2014 and even has twin sons. However, on July 7, Michelle suffered a brutal injury at the hands of Joe while golfing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

He explained that Michelle was doing a headstand at the end of the tee box before he was set to use his driver. Right before Joe hit, she did the splits, putting her right foot in the direct path of the ball. It wound up hitting her on the inside of her right ankle, shattering it.

On Instagram, Michelle opened up even more about how the injury affected her.

“We’ve tried nerve blocks and lidocaine infusions, but nothing is giving me relief. So today, I’m going under the knife to decompress the nerve in the hopes it speeds up my recovery,” she wrote in part of her caption

Many are now wishing Michell a speedy recovery.

“OMG … you are a warrior and a saint and I’m praying for full recovery,” wrote one comment.

“That is crazy!! Sending prayers for a speedy recovery!” said another.

“How crazy! Godspeed with surgery and recovery,” a third added.

“Prayers for a successful surgery and recovery,” continued a fourth.

Of course, it sounds like a freak accident that just happened to be seriously unlucky, considering Joe’s ball had to be hit and the exact right height and speed to meet her ankle.

Joe Buck Set To Enter His 22nd Season In The Booth With FOX NFL

Despite working for the network as an MLB play-by-play announcer since 1996, he didn’t start his NFL career until 2002.

Since then, Joe has easily become one of the most recognizable voices in the NFL, and this is warranted, considering Buck is a seven-time Emmy Award winner.

Despite such a long career in the business, many would be surprised to know that Buck is just 55 years old.

Kevin Durant has wrapped up the Paris Olympics in remarkable fashion, becoming the only player in history to win four gold medals in men’s basketball. After returning from injury to lead Team USA, Durant’s performance has fueled high expectations for the Phoenix Suns in the upcoming NBA season.

Amid this success, Durant’s time with the Golden State Warriors has come back into focus, especially through the words of his mother, Wanda Durant. Wanda recently boldly stated that if Team USA’s top scorer had stayed with the Warriors team, they could have dominated the league for years.

We would’ve had 20 rings by now. And it was about 10 years ago. That’s how cold they were,” Wanda said on the latest episode of TV One’s “Raising Fame.

Durant joined the Warriors in 2016 and quickly made an impact, leading the team to two consecutive championships in 2017 and 2018. However, after the 2018 season, Durant left Golden State and signed with the Brooklyn Nets. He departed after a difficult 2019 NBA Finals, where he suffered a ruptured Achilles while playing against the Toronto Raptors.
