KANSAS City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid will have a surprising new profession added to his resume.

The three-time Super Bowl champion head coach, 66, won’t be the only Chiefs member to have a new role.

The Chiefs announced that the team and Hallmark have teamed up with Skydance Sports and NFL Films to make a holiday movie.

The original movie is called Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story and stars actors Tyler Hynes and Ed Begley Jr. and actress Hunter King.

There will also be special appearances by Andy Reid, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, wide receiver Mecole Hardman, offensive guard Trey Smith, and defensive end George Karlaftis.

Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, will also appear in the film as well as Today with Hoda & Jenna co-host Jenna Bush Hager.

The movie will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, November 30 at 8:00 pm Eastern.

The film will be part of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas programming.

This will be Reid’s first feature film role.

He has made his way into the entertainment world recently, starring in State Farm commercials alongside Chiefs quarterback and insurance spokesman Patrick Mahomes.

The Christmas movie was filmed entirely in Kansas City, including at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Holiday Touchdown is set to air during Hallmark’s 15th anniversary of Countdown to Christmas.

The film will be broadcast as they prepare to make the playoffs for a 10th straight time and win a third straight Super Bowl trophy.

Chiefs fans will get to see their team during the holiday season.

 

 

On Saturday, December 21, they will host the Houston Texans for the holiday-themed game set for 1:00 pm Eastern.

Then, the Chiefs will go head-to-head with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day at Acrisure Stadium.

The game will be the first NFL game to stream live on Netflix.

This will be the second year in a row that the Chiefs will be featured on Christmas Day.

The Chiefs have yet to lose this season.

They are 7-0 and will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football in Week 9.
