Things get really weird when the NFL comes back, and that was proven when a Philadelphia TV host decided to celebrate the start of the Eagles season in a weird and painful way.

Good Day Philadelphia kicked things off this week on Friday morning as 74-year-old Mike Jerrick decided to put his legs straight up into the air live on-air for a Brazilian wax.

This is how excited he was about the Philadelphia Eagles getting set to play football in 2024.

By his side were Jerrick’s co-hosts, Alex Holley and Karen Hepp, who were horrified to see what was happening, but it was a lot like a bad car wreck as they both couldn’t help but watch parts of it as he screamed out in pain.

His unconventional act of team spirit may not sit well with many of the viewers, but it certainly reflected the happiness of Philadelphia’s media landscape and the unwavering support for the Eagles. The segment could be described as more unsettling than anything, with viewers wanting to know about Jerrick’s potential wardrobe choice behind the screen. He appeared to be naked but likely had on some shorts because Human Resources would’ve had a field day.

Philadelphia Eagles Looking To Rebound From Tough Ending To 2023 Campaign

With one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, the Eagles are looking to return to the top of the NFC, but this time, not fall apart at the end of the season and advance to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years.

The team is entering 2024 with high expectations, looking to avenge one of the worst collapses in NFL history.

The Eagles were the last undefeated team, starting 5-0 before losing to the New York Jets.

They began the year 1-1 before the 49ers destroyed them and turned their season upside down.

The team won just one game the remainder of the way and was eliminated from the playoffs in the Wild Card round.

Philadelphia had an aggressive offseason, signing running back Saquon Barkley to improve one of the NFL’s most talented offenses.

Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce all but confirmed that he’ll never come out of retirement after revealing a remarkable offseason body transformation.

Though he was still at the top of his game last year, Jason Kelce decided to hang up the cleats on his illustrious career that will lead to a spot in the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

Because Kelce was playing at a high level in his age-36 season, many fans can’t help but wonder if he’d come out of retirement and return to the Eagles — especially if they’re in Super Bowl contention.

But during an interview with the Associated Press, Jason Kelce made it clear that a comeback is not happening. Kelce cited that the Eagles won’t be calling him back after his drastic offseason weight loss:

“They’re not going to call me to come back and play center at 260 pounds, and I’m moving on to the next thing and I’m excited to watch Cam (Jurgens). I really think Cam is going to be tremendous this year. He’s going to really show people how great of a player he is.

He was good for us last year at right guard and he’s going to flourish at center. And for me personally, my days of playing are just done and I do not foresee any scenario taking place other than maybe medicine inventing a way to get rid of arthritis that I would ever entertain coming back at all anymore.”
